I don't work as a child development professional, but as a mum with children who love to play, create and explore. I'm sharing what I know my kids love in the hope that it will help you provide gifts for the children you love!
Today is about the boy who made me a mum of 5! I had to repeat it to believe it was sometimes true. I look forward bittersweetly to the independence that comes with this age, and many of these ideas reflect my five year old's increasing ability to do things on his own! Many of the gift ideas here reflect a 5 year old's growing independence and curiosity about the world. Another really great thing about this age group is that they can actually interact with you on a higher level and do things like follow rules and understand sportsmanship. It also makes kids transformers toys really fun. Many of the classics I played as a child are still around and will be loved by your child too!
He really likes transformers set and this allows me to choose my gifts for him very well. the Ysten mini transformers car is one of his very favourite gifts and all 8 pieces have 2 modes (robot and vehicle) which can be interchanged. Because there are enough of them, he can often play with his little ones.
